“I've always loved performing; it's always been my favorite part of working on music. And I was able to fall completely in love with the process of making an album and now it's one of the loves of my life and playing it is something else," he said.
“It's amazing to see songs that mean a lot to me, to see how much they mean to other people when you play them. In this regard, I am very grateful to my fans, who have created an environment where I feel I can create what I want to create. I feel very free while performing. This is a real gift and I love it."
He also gives great love to his fans to push the energy in the room.
“The atmosphere that live music creates and that experience… when there's someone on stage, it feels like that's what that person is doing. And actually I really feel like the fans are creating that atmosphere for me, and the room is an energy that almost feels like it's too magical for me to account for," he said.
"It's probably the thing I'm most proud of in my life, the feeling in the room I experience every night on stage. Playing for an amazing group of people every night is my favorite and favorite thing to do."
As for what's coming next, Styles admits he and his Harry's House writing partners Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson have continued to write throughout the tour.
“We always try not to really stop writing because it feels like you have this big stop and then you come back to it and it feels like you're trying to prove something or follow something,” he said. "So we always try to write and have the same intention behind what we make."
